You do not need a college degree or certificate to become a chiropractic assistant in most states, but having one may improve your chances of getting hired. If you can’t find a college that offers chiropractic assistant training or certification, enroll in a medical assistant program or take college courses in biology, anatomy, and physiology to prepare yourself for a career in a chiropractic office.

You do need a high school diploma or GED to work in a chiropractic office. If you do not have one, you can take online GED classes to prepare for the test.
