4) Foreign Interference Isn’t New (4 of 5)
The US themselves have used foreign interference for their own gain in the past, so they are in no position to accuse other nations. As recently as 2015, the Obama Administration tried to swing the Israeli elections away from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. There was actual proof of this with the State Department even giving $300,000 to an Israeli group to distribute among political activists, who wanted to unseat Netanyahu.
Foreign interference happens and has happened in the past as well, with Sen. Ted Kennedy, even asking the Soviet’s for help in 1984. It may be that Russia did try to intervene, but it wouldn’t be the first time this has happened.
