When you have been around for as long as Hillary Clinton, you do develop certain skills, and Clinton showed her full repertoire during the debates. That has clearly given her an advantage and she is ruthlessly dominating Trump to the point that pundits are now wondering whether Donald will even bother showing up for the 2^nd and 3^rd debates.

Clinton used all her experience and managed to do what no Republican primary candidate could manage, put Trump on the defensive. There is no doubt that Trump won’t be able to bully her the way he stormed through the Republican candidates, but none of them are as talented a debater as Hillary.

For Hillary, preparing for a debate means getting the questions in advance from one of the reporters, then having her staff figure out what she should say. Then practice saying the answers in front of a mirror for 2 weeks.

I dare say that I could probably ace an exam if I knew what the questions were going to be.

Hillary was able to deliver “zingers” because of her previously arranged signals with Lester Holt. Her later ability to “Zing” Trump were handled when Donna Brazile gave her questions in advance. And the moderators’ refusal to ask any embarrassing questions of Hillary’s past crimes, helped a lot also.

Her “experience” mostly included illegal, immoral, and unethical activities
