Conor ‘Notorious’ McGregor is still the featherweight champion and is considered to be the best 145-pound fighter in the UFC today. He won plenty of praise for the way he acted with grace and humility after his latest defeat, and it also showed everyone that McGregor has respect for the sport.
However, you just have to wonder if McGregor got caught up in all the attention that he was getting from his stratospheric rise to the top of the UFC. All of this probably clouded his judgment in going up not 1 but 2 weight divisions! Many believe that he was too cocky and over-confident. A lot of people also believe that his loss was very similar to Ronda Rousey’s, and he should learn some humility to become an even better champion.

I have some issues with this article. 1st of all, McGregor easily made more money in losing to Diaz than you, I, and everyone reading this article will make in their entire lives combined. He probably doesn’t need any advice from you. His style is stand up striking (punches and kicks) and take down defense. Does Jon Jones need to become a better wrestler? How about Ruthless? No, that’s not their style. He lost 1 fight to a bigger man and he should be admired for handling it like a good sport.
