So it was back in 2009 at the VMAs when Taylor was awarded with the Best Female Video award and Kanye stole her thunder in a rather embarrassing and totally awkward way.
Just when T-Swift received her award and was trying to contain her excitement, Kanye jumped to the stage, took the mic from her and said that Beyonce’s video was the best.
In other words; he did not think that Taylor was the most deserving candidate. This brutally honest interruption not only left Taylor embarrassed, but also turned her into Kanye’s enemy.
This feud continued until Kanye apologized and when Taylor awarded Kanye the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award. The two really get along now and there are no hard feelings anymore.
