More famously known as the host of the Comedy Central game show “Win Ben Stein’s Money,” Stein is actually a very prominent American writer, lawyer, actor, and commentator on political and economic issues. His early successes were attained as speech writers for Presidents Nixon and Ford, and then entered the entertainment industry. Born in Washington, DC, Ben Stein attended Montgomery Blair High School in 1962, and graduated from the economics program at Columbia University where he was a member of the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity.

Stein went on to study law at Yale, graduating in 1970, and went on to become a poverty lawyer in New Haven, CT and DC before becoming a trial lawyer for the Federal Trade Commission.
