Talk about a total turnaround. When we first met Nicole Richie she was basically just Paris Hilton’s BFF and they were making us wonder if being rich was that cool after seeing how clueless they both were in The Simple Life. Today though, not by Hilton’s side anymore, she’s a mother and a wife.

She’s still a little out there judging by her chicken raising on her recent Vh1 semi-reality show, but hey – we still love her. We also love that she was raised by Lionel Richie starting when she was only 3-years-old. He was a family friend who took her in, and eventually adopted her as his own six years later.
