Another great recipe that you must try at Thanksgiving to celebrate Trump’s victory is this salad of oranges, caramelized red onions, and baby spinach green, dressed in balsamic vinaigrette and spiced with nutmeg and cinnamon.
It may sound unusual, but it definitely tastes amazing, since the flavors are perfect for fall weather. You can easily make the components in the morning and assemble them right before the meal.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp cinnamon, ground
- 4 navel oranges
- 7 ounces baby spinach
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg, ground
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 large red onion, cut into thick rounds (1/8-inch)
- 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
