Washington fears that racial tensions will increase, which will result in violence and chaos in the streets, if Trump became President. Trump doesn’t seem to care if he is stepping over other people; all he cares about is winning.
Trump knows that the racism strategy works, which is why he is using it, even after being called out repeatedly. However, Washington is growing concerned at his cavalier attitude, which could spell trouble if Trump were to become the President.
Racial tensions have been on a serious upward trend for 8 years. As Trump is not racist (ask Jesse Jackson and anyone who has done business with him), race will not be integral in every speech from the Oval Office.
We should have a reduction in racial tension.
