The President of the United States has to have a cool and calculated temperament, which is something that Donald Trump has failed to show throughout his campaign. He has a thick skin, and takes insults to heart, which is something that he simply can’t afford to do.
He is petty and wants to rile people up by offending them and riling them up. These aren’t the diplomatic qualities that a President should have.
Racial tensions have been on a serious upward trend for 8 years. As Trump is not racist (ask Jesse Jackson and anyone who has done business with him), race will not be integral in every speech from the Oval Office.
We should have a reduction in racial tension.
