Movies back in the 80s were all about perfect and original storylines, and that is exactly what it was like for Short Circuit. Johnny 5 was the robot in the movie, and his sole purpose was to be used for military operations. However, he ends up coming to life; after he was struck by lightning following a power surge (had to happen).

However, it doesn’t stop there, since he ends up realizing that he had actually been created for the military and has been programmed to destroy everything. However, all he ever wanted was to be good and live a life full of tranquility. He is a responsive robot and was known by the name of “SAINT No. 5.”
