Terence Tao, an Australian-born Chinese American, tops the list of the world’s smartest and most intelligent humans alive. His impressive intelligence was proven when he was just 2 and taught 5 year olds how to spell and add numbers.
Tao also has the highest IQ of 230, which is another reason for him to be the first mention on this super brainy list. When he was just 8 years old, he scored 760 on the pre-1995 SAT. He also received a Ph.D from Princeton at the age of 20 and four years later was tagged as the youngest ever to become a full professor at UCLA.
Apart from all those skills and achievements, he also received the Salem Prize in 2000, the Bôcher Memorial Prize in 2002, and the 2003 clay research award.
