Millions of people look up to Angelina Jolie for inspiration. Angelina has proven herself far more than a pretty face as she champions advancement of human rights, earning her position as a Special Envoy for UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
Yeah, Jolie was promoted to her designation after serving the UNHCR as a Goodwill Ambassador for more than a decade. A lot unlike honorary degrees from acclaimed colleges for no reason whatsoever.
Aside from her work with the United Nations, Jolie is an advocate for conservation, education, and women’s rights. Honestly, I’m not sure how she even has time to act in and/or direct films – but maybe that can be forgiven because truth be told, she’s doing one hell of a job at making the world a better place.
