Diana was no ordinary princess and the world got to see that when she said her wedding vows.
Unlike most princesses, she did not say, “obeying her husband,” instead she chose to say the words, “to love, comfort, honor and keep.”
Her daughter-in-law followed her example and said the same vows.
Is there anything about this Princess Diana article that we DIDN’T know. What’s next? She had a brother, too? Her husband cheated on her? She died in a car crash caused by overzealous paparazzi and a drunk chauffeur?

This would never have happened if she had done so.
The chauffeur was apparently several times over the legal drink drive limit! How could he have got into a very small lift with Diane, Dodi, and TRJ (the bodyguard) and no-one smelled the alcohol on his breath or noticed him swaying around (which he inevitably would have done). No-one can answer why this didn’t get noticed, or why the sober and responsible bodyguard allowed him to drive in this apparently drunken state!
None of this has ever made any sense at all! In fact it seemed very very convenient to blame the Chauffeur for the accident! Some tampering with blood samples afterwards as well perhaps! Wouldn’t have taken much if this was a deliberate assassination! Also it is on record that an ex SAS member has stated that that was exactly what happened and that the party was deliberately targeted.
Who knows how much embarrassment Diana’s engagement to Dodi was seen as bringing on this country and the Royal family and the potential for someone “taking her and Dodi out! Dodi’s own father Mohammed El Fahad, said so at the time, even blaming the Duke of Edinburgh for arranging things???? Sounds far fetched??? No doubt we will never know! We will only ever be given the “Official version!”

Three errors in your ten facts:
3) She didn’t choose her ring from a catalog. A selection of rings was sent by Garrard’s jewellers to the Palace and she selected the sapphire (reportedly the largest on the tray.)
5) Her engagement was announced in February 1981 and she married in July — 5 months later. Her wedding dress didn’t take ten months to make; it couldn’t have, as the engagement only lasted five months.
9) Diana did not “change” her wedding vows. She and Charles merely chose to use the version given in the Book of Common Prayer’s 1922 version, in which a bride vows to “love, comfort, honour and keep” her husband. “Obey” was in the 1662 Prayer Book. Hardly anybody uses “obey” anymore; it is seen as antiquated.

She was not actually a princess anyway, was she? She was not Princess Diana, which is what many people call her, she was simply Diana, Princess of Wales. There is a difference.

You’d think her family would make her gravesite a nicer place, (especially considering the island is on the grounds of the Spencer estate) instead of it looking like she was buried in the woods.
And, then Charles married Camilla the Cow who has a straight waistline, and is matronly to the point she looks more like his mother than a lover. He was mean and vicious to Diana intentionally. No wonder she was depressed and bulimic. He was not worth it. Shame on Charles; he has accululated a huge amount of karma for what he did to her. She was just a girl in love when she married him. He never loved her and never intended on being faithful: he wanted to whelp out several sons, and continue to screw his friend’s wife. What a guy!!!!

why was he wearing a seatbelt bodyguards are exempt from wearing seat belts as they are expected to be able to protect the person they are guarding from harm i think he was in on the plot to get rid off diana with the royal family she was a real person and had her own mind which is why the stuffy royals didn’t want her. as for the queen mother allowing charles and camilla to meet at her home that shows the royal family only wanted diana cos she young and could give them heirs i personally wiould never believe the public will accept camilla as queen .the crown should be given to william and kate they are the future of our country not charles he too old and stuuffy

Poor Diana. She was embalmed from the waist down before her body was brought back to the UK. Obviously she was pregnant with a half Muslim child. No wonder the establishment wanted rid of her ! Can you imagine a half brother/sister to the future King William being Muslim ? This doesn’t bother me at all, but the Royal Family couldn’t bear it. Disgraceful.
She was indeed murdered. We all know it. That morning my husband brought in the paper and whowed me the headline and I knew immediately it was murder. Yes, the royal family could not have this. It is just as Alix wrote. I don’t know that she was pregnant but the Princess to marry an arab was the last straw. In truth, why would it have mattered? Diana was more popular than any of the royals and this was the biggest threat. Murder worthy in their book.
