Prince was married twice.
In 1996, he married Mayte Garcia, who was a back up singer on one of his tours when she was a teenager. The pair got married at ages 22 and 37.
Prince’s song,”The Most Beautiful Girl in the World,” was inspired by her.
The two had a son who perished only seven days after birth after a rare genetic disorder.
In 1999, they were divorced.
Two years later, he married Manuela Testolini, a Canadian businesswoman who was working for his charitable organization at the time, Love4OneAnother.
They lived in Toronto together and married at the ages of 24 and and 43.
Five years later they were also divorced.
