Rosalynn Carter was born in 1927 and in 1946 she was married to Jimmy Carter. As First Lady, Rosalynn Carter used to be a close advisor to her husband, and actually used to sit in cabinet meetings as well. She was well liked by everyone as First Lady and was very influential in raising awareness for mental health.

She was a huge supporter for mental health issues and was also made the honorary chair of the President’s Commission on Mental Health.
