Was this man after MJ’s money? The lawsuit he filed against the former basketball legend is ridiculous.
In 2006, Allen Heckard filed a lawsuit against Michael Jordan and Nike. In the lawsuit, he claimed that he was sick and tired of people coming up to him and telling that he resembled the basketball star.
So much so, that it caused him emotional stress and permanent injury. He wanted $832 million dollars, $416 million given by Michael and $416 million by Nike.
So, he was after money! Fortunately, neither party had to fork up the cash or go to court even, as Allen dropped the suit after a few months.
He should have not filed the lawsuit in the first place, as it would have been a cause for embarrassment when their lawyers would have began to pick out the flaws in his facial features, which he so adamantly proclaimed resembled the star.
Funny lawsuit. The one with the guy about the beer is the most interesting because he just didn’t drink enough beer to make it work.
