Ashlee Simpson had one of the worst lip synching Snafus at her Saturday Night Live performance in 2004. It was for her song “Pieces of Me” which she had just sung and then was taken aback when the SNL control room played the same track with her vocals. Fans were not amused since she had said that she would never lip sync. Unfortunately for her this ended up being a career ending blunder. I feel sad for her since it wasn’t even her fault, but blaming her band was definitely not a smart move. At least she got to do a hoedown on live TV.
