Jane Eyre is one of the most revolutionary female characters written in history. She stands up for her friends, and speaks on gender issues and the treatment of women in the society. She is hardworking and independent, and did not let Mr. Rochester make her feel inferior because of her social status.
She also had a very strong set of moral principles as she always stood up for her friends, and after she found out about Mr. Rochester’s wife, she went out to start over, and made a life of herself.
While there were certain points in the story where Jane Eyre was sad, upset, or vulnerable, she knew how to stand up for herself, and this makes her one of the best literary heroines ever.
