One of the biggest reasons that played a role in Conor’s defeat to Nate was the fact that Diaz was bigger in size. He even admitted to the press after the fight that he had problems with the size and reach advantage that Diaz had. It actually played a factor in Diaz taking his shots, which would have crushed other featherweight fighters.
McGregor should have known that moving up 2 weight classes would mean knocking out Diaz would take a hell of an effort from his part. His lack of respect for acknowledging the advantage Diaz had was a huge factor in his defeat, and he needs to start respecting opponents bigger in size.

I have some issues with this article. 1st of all, McGregor easily made more money in losing to Diaz than you, I, and everyone reading this article will make in their entire lives combined. He probably doesn’t need any advice from you. His style is stand up striking (punches and kicks) and take down defense. Does Jon Jones need to become a better wrestler? How about Ruthless? No, that’s not their style. He lost 1 fight to a bigger man and he should be admired for handling it like a good sport.
