The first ever deaf and blind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree, Helen Keller is widely known for her extraordinary writing skills. Keller was also a member of the Industrial Workers of the World and the Socialist Party of America.
She also worked for labor rights, women rights, and other social issues. Keller also played a prominent role as a politician, speaker, and author. She is still remembered as the advocate for people with disabilities.
