Hilary Swank did not drop out of high school to pursue her dreams or by choice. She was quite a talkative girl in school and when teachers could no longer take it, they filed complaints against her, which became the reason for her to leave high school.

She was studying in South Pasadena High School which she left after her teachers complained of her talkative nature. Even though she left high school at an early age, she was still used to being a competitive and high spirited girl. At just 9 years of age, she starred in her first play as ‘Mowgli’. After that, she began appearing in more plays.

She also competed in Junior Olympics and Washington State championships in swimming. She was also ranked 5^th in the state in all-around gymnastics.
