Perhaps one of the most remarkable and definitely greatest Oscar winning performances of all time was delivered by Charlize Theron for her role of serial killer Aileen Wuornos in “Monster”. It was an astonishing performance from Theron, who underwent a drastic physical makeover, not to mention unrecognizable gestures and expressions of her character.
There are very few actresses today who could have pulled off that character with such perfection and managed to win an Oscar for it. Charlize Theron managed to do both, and rightfully deserves her place amongst the top 10 best Oscar winning performances of all time.
