In some people’s minds, this is the only woman who will ever really be Catwoman. And really, we don’t argue those sentiments. That voice, that stare. She was iconic in the role, and was a star up until the day she passed in 2008.
In her early life though, things weren’t always so grand. She was born in 1927 to a woman by the name of Annie Mae Keith. The identity of her father still remains a mystery but because her complexion, many believed it was indeed a white man. This caused drama when her mother went to live with a black man when Kitt was eight. He didn’t want her in his house because her light skin, and she was then sent to live elsewhere with another woman.
