All three actors were reportedly drunk whilst on the set of ‘Under Milkwood’. The director, Andrew Sinclair had a hard time dealing with them, and in ‘Milkwood’ Taylor (then wife of), Burton, and O’Toole were raising all kinds of hell on set. The director recalls that once Taylor got so drunk on the set that Burton and O’Toole actually had to hold her up, so she could deliver her lines. She had been throwing fits and refused to act on that day, which is why she had decided to get drunk.

Must be pretty damn old if his book was written in 1906!
