Apocalypse Now, was the film to end all films, considering it took so long for the film to shoot. The film took so long to shoot that it ran way over budget and everyone completely lost their minds whilst filming it, including Francis Ford Coppola, the director. He even contemplated suicide, whilst Martin Sheen had a heart attack, which makes it sound like a set from hell.
In the opening scene Martin Sheen was so drunk that he punched a glass mirror, actually cut his hand open, and made an attempt to attack the director, Coppola off-screen!
Who the hell writes this? English is not a first language, I’m guessing.
Must be pretty damn old if his book was written in 1906!
