The movie ‘Une Homme et une Femme’ received the award for the Best Foreign language Film in the 39th Academy Awards that took place in 1966. The story seemed dated and the only saving grace was the French theme song. ‘Loves of a Blonde’ and ‘The Battle of Algiers’ were far more deserving.
