Elizabeth already holds the title of the youngest self-made billionaire in the world. During her sophomore years at Stanford University, she opted to drop out of pursuing her college degree in chemical engineering and start a blood testing company, Theranos, with the money that she had planned to use for her education.

The company is now valued at $9 billion, and tests blood at the small cost of commercial labs. Elizabeth also managed to raise $400 million from venture capitalists, which allowed her company to be valued at $9 billion. She has got a 50% stake in the company, which takes her net worth to $4.6 billion.
