Donald Trump is a loud, no nonsense man who often comes across as an extremist in his speeches. With the country reeling back from acts of terror and mass shootings, Trump’s version of making American great again may sound better and more appealing than Hillary’s.
Furthermore, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Bernie Sanders have not stayed in the middle, but have pushed their party to the extreme left. On the other hand, you have Trump who the Republican Party did not support or back in the beginning, but he has managed to push them to the center regarding healthcare costs, terrorism, debt, crime within the country, and gay marriage.
