Colorado, part of the Sun Belt States comprising of Florida, Nevada, Virginia, and North Carolina, hold 72% electoral votes. Colorado voted in favor of George W. Bush in the 2001 and 2004 presidential election. However, the state flipped its vote in 2008, when it voted in the favor of current president of the United States, Barack Obama.

This election season, both Clinton and Trump are relying on Latino voters in Colorado, which make up 14 percent of the state’s population, to come out and vote. However, public polls conducted in the state about a potential matchup between the two candidates were inconclusive.
