Believe it or not, Taylor Swift doesn’t hate all of her exes. “Our Song”, the third hit from her self-titled album, Taylor Swift, is a sweet, catchy tune about a guy from high school she dated when she was 15. The guy’s name is Brandon Borello, and we (and the rest of the world) don’t know much about what happened to him after he left Swift.
Borello was a senior when Swift was a freshman, and they broke up when he left for college. Rumor has it that “Tim McGraw” and “Fifteen”, two other songs on the same album, are also about Borello. Some folks dispute the claims that any of these songs are about Borello, insisting instead that Swift is singing about Drew Dunlap, another high school ex.
Either way, our hearts are sad for Swift. We need to get on our broadband phone service or Skype push to talk program and vent with our besties about how nothing compares to your first love.
