Scrub Daddy is often lauded as being the most successful Shark Tank deal of all time. Scrub Daddy founder Aaron Krause partnered with shark Lori Greiner in season 4, receiving a $200,000 financial investment in exchange for 20% equity of the business.
Prior to appearing on Shark Tank, Krause’s smiley-face sponge only brought in $100,000 in sales over a period of 18 months. That number quickly skyrocketed, and Scrub Daddy snagged approximately $75 million in revenue over the last 3 years.
The long-lasting sponges are now staples on QVC and at Bed, Bath & Beyond. More than 10 million sponges have been sold since Krause’s appearance on Shark Tank.
