In late 2010, his fellow politicians encouraged him to run for Speaker of the House, but Ryan declined to run, as he would have to run the fundraising circuit for the Republican Party, a move that he was unwilling to do.
Why would he forgo such a spectacular opportunity?
First, him, running for Speaker of the House would have resulted in a coup with his long-time friend John Boehner, but the most important reason he refused to run was that it would mean time away from his wife and three children.
Now, most of us can agree that we want the recent “all about Trump” election to be over.

Has flipped & flopped to many time to come off being reliable and honest.
He appears as if being bought by politico,corporate and elite rich.
They skipped the part about his wife being the niece of a democrat congress critter. Sounds like the Kennedy effect on Schwarzenegger. Paul RINO needs to go. He’s a weasel.
