This past week has perhaps been the biggest indicator of why Trump will not be able to win the Republican Nomination and it has nothing to do with his campaign. Trump is ignorant and he doesn’t try to hide that fact, which is one of his biggest mistakes to date. He may be trying to act cool, but his lack of knowledge on foreign policy was cruelly exposed in an interview with Hugh Hewitt, and he failed to identify any of the major terrorist leaders.
His lack of self-discipline is seen as a positive trait from his supporters, but it will come back to haunt him in the end. It is becoming clear that he hasn’t got what it takes to engage in an intelligent debate and suggest real solutions to problems. Everyone loves a candidate that can make them laugh, and reality shows are amusing to many, but there comes a time, where a decision has to be made and that is where serious candidates are given more thought.
For Trump to win the Republican Nomination, it would mean a monumental shift in his image, since no one wants to elect a leader who hasn’t got what it takes to come up with an intelligent thought on his own. Insults will not work when you are President of the United States and are facing Vladimir Putin.
Has anyone noticed the orange pancake make up and the white concealer (around his eyes) that Trump wears? I think it looks pretty horrific and clownish. Of course, this goes well with his personality.

This is a lie. Trump has amassed many business ,buildings, and golf courts and resorts. He has business ventures in many countries.

Hey that is not fair! My parents came here LEGALLY three decades ago. They have struggled and survived, learning the language and opening a business all the while raising five children and being too proud to accept government assistance. There are many families like mine…for you too make a comment like you do, shows me that you are uneducated on immigration. Trump doesn’t have the delegates now or the organization to reach 1237 before the convention, and there is absolutely no chance of him winning after the first ballot. His signature skill, that of being a consummate deal maker, is obviously a total sham. His incompetence was on public display for the last three days when Cruz out-maneuvered him in Colorado and ended up with 37 delegates, with Trump acquiring zero. If he’s going to be so brilliant at running the country, why can’t he run a decent campaign? You have been duped, my friend.

Another big factor in Donald Trump not winning the Republican Nomination could be due to the lack of campaign infrastructure that he has got.

I’m amazed, and sickened. Trump will not win the Republican nomination because he’s not conservative enough, hasn’t spent any money (significant) , is bigoted, and doesn’t have a traditional political infrastructure, pre-election.
Let me address these points individually. With respect to his not being “conservative” enough for the Republican party, that may be true. But, that is one of the reasons he would win the general election, as he will get votes from democrats and independents, possibly including the writer of this ridiculous article.
With respect to him not having spent any significant money to this point, and further, the fact that he is the front runner for the republican nomination attests to his excellent business skills. A simple chart of dollars spent over votes attained will tell you that.
Considering that brings up the next point. The writer insists that Trump must have funding and backing from the super PAC’s, which is specifically what Trump has said he won’t do. In reality, he has more money than all the PAC’s combined. Why would he care? Why he would spend his own money ($1.6 million thus far) to get the toughest and worst job in the entire world, that pays a measly $400K/yr is beyond me. Hr is either power hungry, deeply devoted to America, nuts, or some combination, or all of the above.
Regarding his bigotry rhetoric preventing him from winning the nomination, let us not forget Nixon’s “War on drugs”, specifically targeting “hippie’s and blacks” in his campaign(s). Not only did he win the Republican nomination, he won the Presidency. Twice.
On that note, we found out Nixon’s campaign infrastructure much later, which as you know, caused him to resign as President of the US. Trump doesn’t need an infrastructure. Particularly of that type (Watergate). Even in his business operations he has a very minimal “infrastructure”. He stands on his own.
How can someone with a 70+% disapproval rating among women, and is hated by most of the Republican Party, possibly beat a democrat?

Utter nonsense. The nomination is a fait accompli. Why spend money on a liberal media, especially, if you are not going to change any minds, anyway? How many people’s minds are actually influenced by the advertisements they see on the media? My guess is, very few. Most people have a set of values which are represented in the platforms of the parties of which they are members, for that very reason.
The news commentary of journalists does not persuade me of anything but their personal bias. It was eminently obvious, almost embarrassingly so, on PBS/NPR coverage of the Republican National Convention. One tires of such ignorance.
