The Skrulls are an alien race in the Marvel Universe. These shape-shifting creatures are responsible for developing the Cosmic Cube or the Tesseract, as referred in the Avengers films.
They have encountered the Guardians of the Galaxy as well as the Fantastic Four. Director James Gunn has made plans to include the Skrulls in the next sequel to the Guardians of the Galaxy, but has blamed copyright laws for not letting him.
They used Taskmaster’s power for a character in the Heroes tv series for the character Monica Dawson .
