In Bedford, New York, Trump owns a mansion worth around $7.5 million. He bought the lavish home in 1995. The Georgian-style manor dates back to 1919 and once used to house Eugene I. Meyer Jr., the former owner of the Washington Post.
The mansion consists of thirteen bedrooms, twelve bathrooms, a two-story playroom, and a swimming pool built indoors. Trump wanted to construct a golf course, but the town rejected his plans, as they were worried about the pollution that would result from the construction process.
Trump canceled plans to build a golf course and decided to construct fifteen homes and renovate the current homes. He also envisioned each property have its own swimming pool and tennis courts.
