Sadly no one is perfect in this world, and Mariah Carey is no exception. Her lip-syncing fiasco of this year wasn’t the first time that she has been caught. Back in 2015 during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, she had been accused of lip-syncing during her performance for her single All I Want for Christmas is You, which she completely ignored.
She managed to escape any meaningful backlash, but then American Idol winner, Chris Daughtry threw everyone under the parade bus, when he was accused of lip-syncing as well. He tweeted:
