This is arguably a good thing, although some people speculate the couple may have devoted so much attention to their children that they neglected their marriage. Drew Barrymore has professed her deep love for her daughters in multiple interviews and explained that she loves watching Kopelman interact with them.
In the couple’s official divorce statement, they said “Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority.”
