Scott Stapp, the lead singer of Creed, recently admitted he has bipolar disorder after his life spiraled out of control. His wife had to call 911 after Stapp became convinced he was part of the CIA, a psychotic episode triggered by his drug and alcohol abuse.

After numerous arrests, Stapp finally checked into a dual treatment center for help with substance abuse and mental illness. It was there that he learned he has bipolar disorder, and he’s very thankful that he has an explanation for his strange behavior.
