Avid viewers of “House of Carters” know that Nick Carter has one big dysfunctional family. The reality show may have looked entertaining on the screen but this is how Nick Carter has lived most of his life, amidst brawls and disputes.
From a very young age, Nick was the one who looked after his siblings when their parents were continuously frothing in the mouth and fighting. He gradually moved away from his family’s disturbing behavior and made a life for himself when he joined the pop band “The Backstreet Boys”. After the band broke apart, Nick spiraled into substance abuse but things began to look up as he signed himself into a rehab facility. In 2012, his family haunted him again as he was accused of his sister’s drug overdose.
