Selena Gomez used to be the all-time adorable Disney star known for children shows and as a talented pop princess. But after Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Miley Cyrus, it was Selena’s turn to whirl up a storm as she steps into adulthood. First, she fires her mother and her step-father as managers saying she needs a professional manager now who has better access to A-listers. Her parents were also judgmental of her relationship with Justin Beiber and of her career directions. After firing her parents to prove a point, she has now taken up vocals that are worlds apart from her previous self.
