In the documents filed on September 20^th, Jolie cites “irreconcilable differences”.  The documents also states the couple were only separated last Thursday, September 15^th.  Jolie is asking for sole physical custody of the kids which is surprising to many considering their years of co-parenting together.  There has already been varied speculation surrounding the cause of the split, including rumors of difference in parenting styles, infidelity, and even drug and alcohol abuse.
