Princess Leia is no stranger to almost every household in the country. Many of us have grown up watching the series, idolizing the characters and of course who wouldnt have loved to meet the Princess.
But Carrie Fisher, the woman who played Princess Leia in the films wasnt too happy about the movie. She broke the hearts of many Star Wars fans when she told media outlets about her dislike for the Star Wars Trilogy.
She stated that the creator of Star Wars and Indiana Jones, George Lucas, had ruined her life. She said she respected George Lucas’s vision for the movie and her character, but did not appreciate the stalkers and the fan mails that came with it.
Since she was also concerned about her image, it also did not help that George sold Princess Leia dolls, resembling her, as it shot her to sex symbol status, which is something she did not want.

Mark Wahlberg-
The dude that was in “Boogie Nights”, The Departed”, “The Perfect Storm”,”The Italian Job”, and “The Planet of the Apes” remake WASN’T a star before “The Happening”????
Ally Sheedy? First movie Breakfast Club? Was War Games not a movie? Breakfast Club 1995? So apparently when I saw it in 1985 I was somehow seeing into the future? Amazing!
I had the same observations, but I’ll add that if the “author” would look at both her television and movie credits it’s plain that her career did not just wither away. She may not be big box office, but she has worked steadily since four years before The Breakfast Club. The truth is these things are slapped together by people who don’t give a rat’s butt about the subject matter because all they want is clicks. I feel a little dumber every time I click into one of these things. Note to self: Just because it’s on a news site and is presented like it’s another news item doesn’t mean it’s not just a lazy attempt to earn money via your clicking.
I don’t even remember The Happening, but apparently the 14 years of making movies before that came out did nothing for Mark Wahlberg’s career.
