The former Detroit Lions running back was considered one of the best at his position in NFL history. He was also a 10-time All-Star and a 10-time All-Pro. His team also took the first rank on six different occasions.
Sanders did get a chance to come close to winning a Super Bowl when the Lions qualified for the 1991 NFC Championship game against the Washington Redskins. Despite such amazing statistics, he was unable to win a Super Bowl, which has left him a part of this list.
