Holly Holm signed a five fight deal with UFC in 2014 and her expected debut was due at UFC 181, but she withdrew because of an injury. She then made her debut at UFC 184 and won her first fight by a split decision.
Holm then went on to win the biggest fight of her UFC career at UFC 193, when she became the 2nd undisputed Bantamweight Champion of the World.

Holly Holm showed herself to be a classy fighter. She was concerned over the welfare of her opponent and did not gloat like many would have. I think Holm is a legitimate champion who simply fought a better fight.

Holly seems to be a quality person and a multi-dimensional athlete. Rousey’s crappy pre-fight attitude and her refusal to congratulate Holly after the beat down shows there’s no comparison in the dignity of the two women.
