Ana Lucia’s great-grandfather had founded one of Brazil’s largest banks, Itau, which merged with Unibanco in 2008 to form the largest non-state bank in Latin America, Itau-Unibanco. Ana Lucia is the youngest female billionaire in Brazil, and she also owns a stake in another company started by her grandfather, Duratex.
