Donald Trump made headlines when he said that he would bring back ‘waterboarding’ in order to torture terrotists. During a GOP debate in March, Trump said,
“We should go for waterboarding and we should go for tougher than waterboarding,”
Trump has claimed that he isn’t afraid to use ‘advanced interrogation techniques’ to defeat ISIS and has claimed that the U.S. has weak laws that prohibit torturing terrorists. However, he quickly backtracked on his plans of torturing terrorists and their family, when he found out that it would break international law.
