During her dominant run, Ronda Rousey was super confident, and had an aura of invincibility around her, which effectively ensured she won the fight before it had even begun! She had swagger and an unshakable belief that she couldn’t be defeated. She believed that she was the most dominant fighter in the division and that is why she was able to absolutely destroy all her opponents.
Holly Holm absolutely shattered all of that with one kick to the head, and Rousey has definitely not been the same ever since. Her swagger is gone, her confidence seems shattered, and she has fear in her eyes now, when she is in the ring. All it took was 48 seconds for Rousey to be dismantled by Nunes and it looks as if she will never be the same fighter again.
