Vladimir Putin was pictured riding in a bathyscaphe or a mini sub on August 18^th 2015. Many speculated that Mr. Putin was going underwater to find the lost city of Atlantis, but he was in fact visiting Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014. The reason for this strange photo was later released by the Kremlin, which stated that Mr. Putin wanted to visit Crimea in order to promote tourism.

We have to commend Vladimir Putin on this, as he certainly knows how to travel in style.
