The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are one of the most well-known and popular cheerleading squads in the NFL. In 1960, the cheerleading team, consisting of both male and female members, formed. They called themselves the CowBelles and Beaux.

However, in the 1970s, they removed the male cheerleaders from the team to make it an all-girl cheerleading squad. The cheerleading squad adopted a new look and style following the change, wearing cowgirl uniforms, featuring the colors blue and white. Every year, the cheerleading squad publishes a swimsuit calendar.
